Getting Started

Q: How do I connect my X account? A: Tap “Login with X” on the authentication screen. You’ll be redirected to X’s official login page to authorize Tweety Voice. Your credentials are never shared with us.

Q: What permissions does Tweety need? A: Tweety requires access to read your timeline, post tweets, reply, like, follow, and send direct messages. These permissions are necessary to provide full voice-control functionality.

Q: Do I need a subscription? A: Yes, Tweety Voice requires an active subscription. Your subscription provides $8 in credits each week that refresh automatically. You can also purchase additional credits if needed.

Using Voice Commands

Q: How do I post a tweet with my voice? A: Simply say something like “Post a tweet saying…” followed by your message. The AI will confirm before posting.

Q: The AI misunderstood my command. What should I do? A: Use clear and specific voice commands. Review important actions before confirming them. You can always manually correct or delete any posts made in error on X.

Account & Billing

Q: How do credits work? A: Your subscription provides $8 in credits each week that refresh automatically. Credits are consumed based on AI voice processing usage. If you exhaust your weekly credits, you can purchase additional credits for extended usage.

Q: What happens to unused credits? A: Credits refresh weekly with your subscription. Unused credits from the previous week do not roll over - you get a fresh $8 allocation each week.

Q: How do I cancel my subscription? A: Go to Settings > Subscriptions in the iOS Settings app, select Tweety Voice, and choose “Cancel Subscription.” Your subscription will remain active until the end of the billing period.

Q: Can I get a refund? A: Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their refund policy. Visit the App Store or contact Apple Support for assistance.

Privacy & Security

Q: Is my voice data stored? A: No. Voice recordings are processed in real-time by our AI partners (Grok and OpenAI) and are not permanently stored by Tweety Voice.

Q: How is my X account secured? A: We use OAuth 2.0 authentication with tokens stored securely in your device’s Keychain with hardware-backed encryption. We never see your X password.

Q: Can I revoke Tweety’s access to my X account? A: Yes. You can revoke access anytime through X’s settings under “Apps and sessions” or by logging out of Tweety Voice.


Troubleshooting

Login Issues

Problem: “Login failed” or “Something went wrong” when connecting X account Solution:

  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection
  • Try logging out and back in to your X account in Safari
  • Check that your X account is not suspended or restricted
  • Restart the app and try again

Problem: “Unauthorized” error after logging in Solution:

  • Your session may have expired. Log out and log back in
  • Check if your X account has any security restrictions
  • Ensure Tweety Voice is authorized in your X account settings

Voice Recognition Issues

Problem: Voice commands not working or not recognized Solution:

  • Check microphone permissions: Settings > Tweety Voice > Microphone
  • Ensure you’re in a quiet environment
  • Speak clearly and at a normal pace
  • Check your internet connection (voice processing requires internet)

Problem: AI performs wrong action Solution:

  • Use more specific commands
  • Review the action before confirming when prompted
  • Check your X timeline to verify the action
  • Manually correct any errors directly on X

App Performance

Problem: App crashes or freezes Solution:

  • Restart the app
  • Ensure you’re running the latest version from the App Store
  • Restart your device
  • If the issue persists, contact support with details

Problem: Slow response from voice assistant Solution:

  • Check your internet connection speed
  • Close other apps using network resources
  • Try again during off-peak hours
